I was not notified of this. 

I don’t want to make a BIG deal out of what I’m about to say, but I’ve been brought to tears enough times recently by the pain the fandoms are causing each other with their harsh words.

So, would you all do me a favor after you watch this video… and go back to 0:15 where Carlos asks One Direction to introduce themselves. And LISTEN to what is said.

“Hello, we’re One Direction. Those of you that are coming along to the BWU tour, you are in for a show. BTR are on fire on this tour.”

And then note that CARLOS (a member of BTR, not 1D) turns around and immediately says, “Yeah, and THESE GUYS! Come on! Give it up for these guys!”

I don’t know if I’m just… making shit more than it needs to be, but this is something that’s both beautiful and horribly sad to me. The two bands can sit together and support each other. In a video promoting the tour and introducing themselves and just being dorks, One Direction praises Big Time Rush and Big Time Rush (what’s represented) praises One Direction.

And yet the fans can’t learn by example…
